How do we pick the technology?

Every recommendation is architected against your data, not a line card. We start from what the workload needs: capacity and growth, performance, how much data you can afford to lose and how long you can be down, and when the budget is available.

Because we carry several vendors in storage, servers, data protection and security, we can put two or three real options side by side. Sometimes the right answer is to extend support on what you already own, and we will say so.

Deal registration and procurement help

Buying data center hardware and software involves more paperwork than it should. We handle it.

  • Deal registration

Where the vendor program allows it, we register your project with the manufacturer so the quote reflects registered partner pricing.

  • Side-by-side quotes

Comparable configurations from more than one vendor, so you are choosing between real options rather than a single proposal.

  • Authorized distribution

Products are sourced through authorized distribution, with shipping, tax and freight shown on the invoice.

  • Budget timing

Quotes and project phases lined up with your fiscal year, renewal dates and approval process.

Lifecycle and support renewals

Technology does not stop needing attention after it is installed. We help you keep track of:

  • End-of-support dates for arrays, servers, network gear and firewalls
  • Hardware support and software subscription renewals before they lapse
  • Refresh candidates flagged early enough to budget for
  • License changes that affect cost, such as VMware by Broadcom subscriptions
  • Firmware and software versions that need upgrades to stay supported
