Both. Storcom is a value-added reseller for vendors such as IBM, Dell Technologies, CrowdStrike, Veeam and HPE, and it also runs managed services for backup, disaster recovery, security and cloud. You can buy products you own, have Storcom manage services, or combine the two.
What makes Storcom different from a vendor-direct sales team?
A vendor sells its own product line. Storcom works with several vendors in each category, so the recommendation starts from your workloads, recovery objectives and budget, and can include keeping what you already have. The same team then implements and, if you choose, manages the result.
Does Storcom only work with companies in Illinois?
No. Storcom is headquartered in Geneva, Illinois and serves Chicagoland closely, but it works with customers across the U.S. Managed services and support are delivered remotely, and engineers travel for deployments and migrations when needed.
